• SANTI(URUGUAY)

After a wonderful conversation with Patricja, during which she explained the concept, vision, and mission of the festival, she asked me to share who I am and what my dreams are. As I began to think about it, I realized that it had been a long time since I’d faced such a question. It wasn't about my CV as a DJ, or whether I play traditional or non-proper tango; it was much deeper. After some reflection, I remembered a moment from my childhood, when I was around five or six years old, camping with my family. I realized that I’ve always dreamed of being an animator. No matter what role I take on in any job or place, I love being surrounded by animated, lively people. If there’s an opportunity to contribute to that energy, I’ll give my all to make it happen. Even when I'm DJing alone at home, I always take a moment to imagine ways to make people smile. In fact, when I presented my thesis in front of my university professors, I was more focused on the jokes I’d tell or the funny remarks I’d make, rather than the content itself. The content was the easy part, drawn from books and authors; the joy came from making others smile. As for my dream, it’s closely tied to who I am: I want everything I do in life to be cheerful and done with a sense of lightness.

  • FRANCESCO(GERMANY/ITALY)

  • STEINAR(NORWAY)

Ever since I was a little kid, I've loved two things: Music and the Ocean. My first memory is sitting in a small dinghy with my dad, I can't have been more than 4-5 years old. I remember the smell of salt water and gasoline. The sound of water running against the hull, and the hum of the small outboard engine. The rocking of the boat as it danced across the waves. The immense power and mystery of the dark blue world hidden beneath the surface. I've explored music as a musician, teacher, dancer and tango-dj and now I'm exploring the dark blue world as a scuba diver. I can't wait to share all the treasures I've found with you all. Come, take a deep dive with me, and we'll drift together in the currents, engulfed in the mystery and power of Tango, where emotion meets motion in a never-ending exploration...

  • SONJA(SERBIA)

I dream of beauty. Life that flows like the rays of sun over the grass, flowers, bushes and animals of a field. Light and shadows, melting into each other. Movements and stillness. Silence and sounds. Inside and out. Gentle, soft touch. Sometimes strong. Enticing scents. Smooth, exciting, and tickling tastes. Ballance, and joy. When we meet, let's dream together

  • GREGOR (SWITZERLAND)

Hello! I’m Gregor the Tangonaut, and I’ve been exploring the enchanting tango universe since 1998. Throughout my journey, the music has shaped me into someone who truly adores the music that inspires us to dance. Each tanda I create is a heartfelt arrangement, guided by my intuition rather than any rules or theories. When I’m behind the DJ booth, I’m dancing inside, never having a dull moment. I warmly invite you to join me at the Kristiana Tango Festival!
